Xi'an Railway Stations to Implement Real-Name Ticketing System on Dec. 28th

Beginning on December 28th, 58 of the 81 stations under the authority of the Xi'an Railway Bureau will implement the Real-Name Ticketing System. To purchase a train ticket for yourself, you'll need to bring a valid ID; if you are purchasing for someone else, you'll need to bring his or her ID. The pre-sale period for tickets will also be adjusted on January 1st. Internet and phone booking can purchase 12 days in advance, and tickets booked at the station can be purchased 10 days in advance.
