Xiamen-Shenzhen High Speed Rail to Add More Trains to Routes
May 16, 2014 By eChinacities.com

According to the Guangzhou Railway Group, nine more pairs of trains are to be added along the Xiamen-Shenzhen High Speed Railway. The new trains will run along routes between Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Chaoshan. The new trains are being added as a measure to prevent overcrowding on the popular route.

According to the head of Shenzhen North Railway Station the trains transported over 3.6 million passengers over a four month period last year: that’s an average of 30,000 passengers a day.

Hopefully the new trains will help towards making the routes a little less stressful for everyone involved.
