An inbound trial flight from Xiamen landed successfully at the Gonggar Airport in Lhasa on December 13th, paving the wave for the expected opening of two new flight routes –Xiamen-Lhasa and Fuzhou-Lhasa – on January 15th. The trip from Fuzhou to Lhasa is expected to take about 5.5 hours, and will cost about 3,000 RMB for a one-way ticket.
