On April 28th, Wuhan Yangtze International School opened in Wuhan. It is the only international school approved in the six provinces in middle and southern China by the Ministry of Education. The school, which is invested by Hunan Province and Wuhan City, manages to provide children of expatriates with standard international elementary education.

Its curriculum is United States-based, with an emphasis on matching the American teaching schedule for each grade level. The school is also the only certified AP, PSAT, SAT and ACT examination center in Wuhan, allowing students to take these tests on-site.
