For China’s growing affluent population, many Chinese banks are launching exclusive private banking services for rich people. Usually, these kinds of services are only available to those with assets over a few million RMB.
Eight private banks in Wuhan however are providing a particularly unique set of services which differ from what you might expect. There’s helping with making high-end hospital appointments, helping children study abroad, and even assistance in helping daughters find suitable partners.
One of the more peculiar services available however is the “Mistress Prevention Training”, which offers the wives of wealthy Chinese men special tutoring on how to maintain stable marriages and to stop their husbands from wandering down the dark path of adultery.
Right, because it’s the wives who are responsible for ensuring their husbands don’t cheat on them? Lovely.
