Britain’s “Restaurant” magazine recently released its annual World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. To compile the 2013 list, the magazine interviewed more than 900 chefs, food critics and F&B managers.

Spain’s El Celler de Can Roca tops this year’s list, while former No. 1, Danish restaurant Noma was knocked down a spot to second place. Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy, Mugaritz in Saint Sebastian, Spain and Eleven Madison Park in New York City, USA rounded out the top five.

In addition, three restaurants in China made the list this year: Amber and 8 1/2 Otto E Mezzo Bombana, both in Hong Kong, as well as Mr & Mrs Bund in Shanghai, ranked 36, 39 and 43 respectively.
