From May to October this year, visitors holding tickets to the Shanghai World Expo will also be allowed special discounts when they opt to visit 39 scenic areas and 43 hotels in Xi'an.
The slotted special discounts are as follows:
1. Free admissions to the Archaeological Site of the Duling Cemetery in the Han Dynasty (Handuling Ecological Scenic Area);
2. 47% discount for visits to the Museum for ceramics and pottery (Jingwenniu Culture & Ceramics Museum);
3. 50% discount for visits to 13 different scenic areas, including Weiyang Lake Amusement Park, Heihe National Forest & Park, and Banpo Museum;
4. 70% discount for visits to 14 different scenic areas, including the aquarium and Cuihua Mountain;
5. Xi'an tourist bureau has also announced that visits to 18 different scenic areas including Shaanxi History Museum and Dayan (Big Wild Goose) Pagoda will also be free of admissions for visitors holding Expo tickets.
