A Malaysian woman travelled to Shanghai in July 2013 to have a few corrections made to her facial features. She had the surgery on her eyes and nose and everything seemed a-ok. On her return to Malaysia she found that her nose was crooked and that her one eye was bulging slightly. So she went back to the same surgeon to get the mistakes fixed, but again she was displeased.

After her first surgery she had six more surgeries just on her nose in order to get it perfect. At one point she was having weekly surgeries, making minor adjustments first to the left and then to the right to get it dead center. But it seems they could just never get it to her satisfaction, so she eventually sued the hospital for damages.

In the end the hospital agreed to pay half of the 20,000 RMB she sued for. They argued that she was partly responsible because each time she rushed the healing process and went against the orders of her doctor by taking off the bandages too soon.

Seven surgeries in 6 months sound awfully painful, especially on your face.
