At five o’clock on February 4, Liu Mou phoned the police and told them that she’d found a dead man in a town square. Five police cars soon arrived on the scene though found nothing. They tried to get back in touch with Liu Mou only to find that her phone had been switched off. The police then spent the next two days investigating the scene regarding the apparent death, though found nothing suspicious. On the afternoon of February 7, Liu Mou confessed that she’d made the prank call due to being upset over a recent family argument. Liu Mou is now in police custody for wasting the time of several policemen, awaiting her sentencing.
