A 600-hectare ecological tourism culture area will be built in the Chaoyang section of Wenyu River. Wenyu River, at 47.5km in length, is located in the northeast of Beijing and the only river originating in Beijing. In the future, the 600-hectare Wenyu River project will be turned into a recreational resort and after completion will provide job opportunities for about 1000 local people.
