The Water Cube will be closed from October 15th for reconstruction of some indoor facilities and will be open to the public again in June 2010 with a fresh new look. It will be the best water amusement venue in China. The reconstructed Water Cube will maintain the original architectural style and will become a multi-functional large scale water center to host international competitions and to provide comprehensive services to the public, including water sports, leisure activities, and tourism.
