Terminal 3 of the Urumqi International Airport opened its doors on Dec. 26th, 2009. The third phase of construction on the project was started in April, 2007. It is the largest project invested in the civil aviation history of Xinjiang and houses the region’s most advanced facilities. The reconstruction of Terminal 1 and 2 will start soon and will be finished by the end of 2010.
