Urumqi Flight Forced to Land after Bomb Scare

According to a Chinese netizen, a plane from Beijing to Urumqi was forced to land at the Jiayuguan Airport on the evening of October 13th due to a bomb scare. The news was later confirmed by CNTV reporters, who said that a female passenger claimed that there was a bomb inside the plane. Local police detained the passenger after the forced landing and searched the plane for the explosive [update: the bomb threat was apparently fake, made by a disgruntled passenger].
