Remember the viral graduation photo taken by nursing students who formed a heart around their one male classmate? Students at Guangxi Institute of Mechanical Automotive Electronic Technology had the opposite problem: 79 males and one female in their graduating class. The class decided to take their graduation photo in wedding gear with 79 grooms and one bride.
The 79 grooms made sure their one bride, a girl named Liang, felt special on the big day. They raised 1200 Yuan amongst themselves so that she could buy a wedding dress. Liang said that when she went to the bridal salon, she sent pictures of different dresses she tried on to her male classmates. She ended up spending 500 Yuan on a dress and using the rest to pay off her tuition fees.
On November 9, Liang went to the bridal salon to get her make-up done. As she walked back to campus, a few of her male classmates met her and walked with her, holding her dress’s train. “I was very excited, I was the happiest girl!” she said. All the boys dressed up in black or white shirts and they all took pictures together in front of the library.
