Underwater Express Rail to be Built Between Shenzhen Airport and Hong Kong Airport

According to reports, plans are in place to construct a 42-kilometer underwater express rail connecting Shenzhen Airport and Hong Kong Airport. According to the preliminary plan, there will be four stops on the rail – two in each city. A total of 50 billion RMB will be invested in the project and construction will take about seven years. Once finished, it will only take 30 minutes from Shenzhen Airport to Hong Kong Airport. At present, the project is waiting for the approval of relevant departments in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
