UN Agency Asked to Investigate Chance of MH370 Having Exploded
Mar 11, 2014 By eChinacities.com

The Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization branch of the UN has been called in to help with the investigation of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. A possible theory is that the plane exploded and disintegrated in the air. However, this is so far unconfirmed and authorities are enlisting the commission to help prove or disprove the idea.

In September 1996 the commission was set up to protect the world from nuclear war by planning and building 337 monitoring stations around the world that can detect even the faintest explosion in order to prevent nuclear testing. It is believed that if the plane did, in fact, explode, that one of these monitoring stations would have picked up the infrasound waves.

Until now the commission has never made its results public and it remains to be seen whether they will break that trend now.
