Two Local Men Climb Shanghai’s Tallest Building, Local Authority Fail

Two Local Men Climb Shanghai’s Tallest Building, Local Authority Fail
Feb 27, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Earlier this month we reported that the two Russians who climbed Shanghai’s tallest building, at least upon completion it will be, were under investigation and that the city’s government were trying to prevent such an event from happening again.

Well happen again it did, and the local authorities are surely still wiping the proverbial eggs from their faces after they failed to implement any of the safety measures they said they would. So, of course, they announced again that they would increase security surrounding the site to prevent this happening…AGAIN.

The two local men, not to be outdone by their northern neighbors, scaled the building and took pictures of the view from up top. It seems they chose a clearer evening as you can actually see the city in their snapshots. Who’s next?

For Christ sake! Such a 'great' discussion about a notorious wish of copying, probably the inferiority complex, if they were the first who did that, at least photoshop then......but alas and alack!!!!;) Diagnosis: Monkey see monkey do!

really??? I have a feeling (because you punctuated your sentence) that you actually think it is a photo shop. firstly, if you look, you will see he is leaning against a yellow thing, thus enabling him to make it look like he is sitting. if this was a photoshop mistake, do you really think they would have not noticed he was sitting down, (not forgetting that they have even illuminated the yellow support he is leaning on and the silver thing in the top right is illuminated). next up, you can see the underside of his trousers, Im not sure how you think photo shop works, but taking a photo of someone on a sofa and then deleting the sofa, will not give a picture of a person sitting in mid air. (photographs dont take a picture of whats behind an item). I would have to say this is 99% guarantied to be genuine.

What do you expect when security guards replace themselves with dummies and no one notices?

These photos give me vertigo, even from the safety of my own home. I'm glad there are so many different kinds of people in this world - there's no way I could manage something like that.
