Traffic accidents are a common occurrence on China’s roads but this particular accident was quite a sight to behold. On December 5 at around 12:00 in the afternoon, a truck transporting cash flipped over on a stretch of the Guangxi-Quannan Highway causing 600 million Yuan to spill out onto the road. Police from Yongfu County near Guilin immediately rushed to the scene to protect the cash and its driver and not long afterwards another truck arrived to take away the dough – a process that didn’t conclude until around 16:30 (600 million is A LOT of cash!).
