Head to Mao Livehouse in Shanghai on October 15 to watch Tommy Emmanuel and Martin Taylor perform.
The two men met over 20 years ago in Australia (Tommy, a native Australian while Martin comes from the U.K.) and their musical chemistry was clear from the beginning. They bring two very different styles to the table: Tommy comes from the Chet Atkins school; whereas Martin’s background is traditional jazz. Having led separate careers for many years, they always wanted to work together on an album. All this feeds into a very interesting performance that is well worth checking out.
