The St. Regis Hotel, Tibet’s first-ever five-star hotel, opened on May 28th in Lhasa in a bid to attract more tourists to the region. The St. Regis Hotel, adjacent to Barkhor Street, offers 148 luxury rooms and 14 villas and suites, and its design style integrates both modern and traditional Tibetan elements.
