Yesterday the city’s Italian Travel Street officially opened. In addition to tasking tasty foreign food, tourists can also come and see Russian and Italian cultural art exhibitions for free. This year the Italian Travel Street will quicken its pace in attracting customers, gradually becoming a flourishing commercial, leisure, travel, entertainment, shopping and sightseeing area.

The Italian Travel Street is located by Ziyou Avenue and Minzu Street. Currently there are already seven merchants that have set up shop in the street, running and managing places like a foreign-style bar, an ice-cream shop, a Western restaurant, a cake shop and a café. Starting now until the Spring Festival, the Italian Travel Street is promoting various sales for tourists. In addition, there are now trackless trolley cars for sightseeing, where tourists can see Tianjin’s exhibition center, the Ran Juchao Memorial Center, the old residence of Caoyu, the Italian barracks, Marco Polo Square and other signs of Italian style and architecture.
