Tianjin to Set up Foreign Exchange Bureau

Tianjing is one of several cities around China to launch a pilot foreign exchange bureau that will allow residents to change foreign currencies and travellers checks into RMB and vice-versa. The maximum amount is 5000 USD per day per person. The other pilot areas include Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong, Guangdong, Beijing, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnan and Xinjiang.
