Tianjin Polar Ocean World project began on May 23rd, 2008. Polar aquarium, one of the main projects of the Ocean World, will become the biggest polar aquarium in China. 32 meters in height, the whale-shaped aquarium covers an area as large as 42,000 square meters. It is estimated that by the spring of 2010, people can have fun with polar animals and appreciate rare polar lives including white whales, polar bears, penguins, sea otters and sea lions in the simulated polar world.
