Tianjin Travel Tips

Tianjin enjoys a four season, monsoon-influenced climate similar to Beijing’s with an average annual temperature of 12℃. The average temperature in January is -4℃ and July’s average is a pleasant 26℃. The Port of Tianjin is frozen for an average of 80 days per year and annual precipitation levels are in the 550-650mm range. 75% of Tianjin’s precipitation falls in the summer.

Spring and fall is the most pleasant time to visit Tianjin. However, those brave enough to face Tianjin’s cold winters can find solace in one of the city’s many hot spring resorts.
