The construction of the Tianjin IKEA is nearly finished, and work has now begun on the surrounding parking lots and roads. The Swedish furniture giant’s Tianjin branch will cover 45,000 sq. m, hold close to 10,000 different furniture and household items and provide 2,000 free-of-charge parking spaces. After its grand opening in early 2012, the market will be accessible via the Jin-Tang Highway and the light rail.
