2009 saw the release of the China Millennium Monument “through-ticket” to Beijing museums on Jan. 22nd 2009. The through ticket involves 49 museums and scenic spots in 5 categories which still charge admission fees, including free preferences for 17 venues such as Beijing Chronometer Hall. In addition, there are 50% or partial discounts to 32 venues such as Beijing Poly Art Museum and Pacific Ocean World Expo. Besides, most venues provide discounts for 2 person times, so the through ticket is suitable for 3-person-family tour.
The ticket is sold at RMB 80 in the form of pocket book, with the contents of address, telephone, opening times, price, bus routes, parking space and introduction as well as recommended exhibitions and 2009 highlights.
