Three-quarters of China’s drug users are under the age of 35. There were 1,887,000 drug users between the ages of 18 and 35 in 2015, according to Wu Xin, director of China’s Narcotics Control Bureau. This accounts for 58.4 percent of all drug users.
There were also 38,000 were under the age of 18. In the first half of 2015, there were 265,000 newly discovered drug users in China. Three-quarters of them were under the age of 35.
In 2014, 57.1 percent of drug users were under the age of 35, 29,000 were under the age of 18, and 1,659,000 were between the ages of 18 and 35.
Drug use is spreading amongst businesspeople, freelancers, and entertainers. Numerous celebrities in the entertainment industry have been caught recently with drugs. On November 12, singer Yin Xiangjie was arrested for the second time on drug charges. Last year, Jaycee Chan and actor and singer Ko Chen-tung, amongst others, were also arrested on drug charges.

Terrible reporting. What kind of drugs are used by this age group? How are they able to collect these numbers? It all seems plucked out of thin air, these stats. In 6 months there were 265,000 newly discovered drug users? How did they get discovered? Are these stats easy to come by or...did someone just make all this shit up? lol
