The true story of the Elephant Man makes its way to the stage in Guangzhou on December 5. Hosted by the British School of Guangzhou, the production follows the story of John Merrick, whose Genetic disorder renders him a ‘monster’ and lands him a job at the Fairs and Circuses as a freak. After being saved by a doctor he blossoms into a caring and gentle man beloved by all.

The Performance Exchange Theatre Company London does a great job with this classic story. Merrick is masterfully brought to life by Robin Berry who was a star at the Haymarket Theatre in London.
