According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index the title of Richest Person in China changed hands twice in 2013, and it has changed hands again, with Tencent Holdings Ltd’s chairman, Ma Huateng taking the reigns. Ma’s net worth is $13 billion.
The previous board leader’s, Wang Jianlin of the Wanda group, net worth is only a miserly $12.6 billion, and Robin Li, CEO of Baidu, and previous 1st placer, is now third with a net worth of $12.5 billion.
