Zhongguancun’s tech companies earned more than 4 trillion Yuan last year, an increase of 13% from last year and more than double the numbers from 2010.
1413 tech companies in Zhongguancun earned over a billion Yuan. Now, 2,556 companies in 2014 have shattered those numbers. The emergence of leading tech companies like Xiaomi, Didi Kuadi, Meituan, and 360 spurred the massive development and income of the area.
Students from Beijing universities have set up centers for innovation and entrepreneurship in Zhongguancun. These incubators are a one-stop shop for student entrepreneurs.
