A "mini-terminal", offering offsite check-in and shuttle service to Zhuhai Airport, was opened in Tanjiawan on November 22nd. The mini-terminal was set up in the Zhuhai Tangjia Julong Hotel (珠海唐家聚龙酒店), where passengers can get their plane tickets printed, as well as enjoy the "Airport Fast Line" shuttle service. Tangjiawan is a high-tech industry zone that is backed by well-known universities, and is home to many software R&D companies. It is more than 60 km away from the Zhuhai Airport. Over the years, because there was no direct shuttle bus to Zhuhai airport, it was very inconvenient for Tangjiawan residents to travel to the airport. The shuttle bus is scheduled to run eight times per day and its operating hours are 7:30-18:00.
