According to reports, the Taiyuan government has approved plans to adjust taxi fares from June 1st onwards. The starting price will remain unchanged but the unit price will increase by 0.5 RMB/km.
The adjustments are as follows: during the day the starting price is 8 RMB (within 3 km), with an increase of 1.6 RMB per kilometer; during the night the starting price is 8.6 RMB (within 3 km), with an increase of 1.8 RMB per kilometer.
