The engines and trolleys of shield machines have been delivered to the construction site of Suzhou light rail Line 1 Suzhou International Expo Center Station since February 19, preparing for the 1,600m-long underwater shield construction through the Jinji Lake from Expo Center Station to the air shaft of Island A and then to Xing gang Street Station. Both the planners and construction teams understand that this section is a difficult and challenging part of the entire project.
