Suzhou Foreign Students Account for 25% in Jiangsu

One out of four foreign students in Jiangsu is studying in Suzhou. There are eight Chinese language (Chinese culture) promotion bases for foreigners in Suzhou, offering courses that include Chinese calligraphy, Chinese music, Chinese Kungfu, and even some courses of local culture, such as Su Style embroidery, Suzhou Gardens, and Shantang Culture. Moreover, foreign teachers are increasing year by year. Currently there are nearly 400 long-term foreign teachers and the number increases to 600 when the short-term teachers are counted.
