The largest Spring Festival flower market in Guangzhou, the aptly named "Guangzhou Flower Expo Spring Festival Flower Fair", officially opened on January 7th. The flower market covers 1.46 million sq. m, and hosts more than 700 flower businesses from throughout Guangdong Province, Yunnan Province, Shandong Province and other areas. This year, there will be more than 130 types of flowers for sale (in more than 800,000 pots!) making it the largest Spring Festival flower market in the country. The flower festival will be held until January 21st.
