Train ticket sales have reached record-breaking heights this Friday as 9.56 million tickets were sold in one day.
The China Academy of Railway Sciences has revealed that the official ticket-selling website received 29.7 billion views on Friday, as 59 percent of the total tickets were sold online.
Sales have since dropped as peak buying times for the busy Spring Festival season have now passed.
On Saturday the sales had already dropped to around 4.58 million.
