The renovation of an architecture zone comprising of old western-styled houses along Shanghai’s Sinan Lu will be completed by the end of March. Located near Fuxing Lu and Hengshan Lu in Luwan District, the zone includes 51 villas, mostly built in the 1920s and 1930s. A riverside park and a green scenic area are also under construction and are scheduled to open before the Expo. Office buildings, hotels and hotel-style apartment buildings will add another view of luxury to the historic area.
