Sichuan Police in Trouble for Watching Movies on the Job

Sichuan Police in Trouble for Watching Movies on the Job
Jun 27, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Police in Sichuan’s Anyue County have been photographed watching a movie at a local hole-in-the wall shop while on the job. The photo emerged online on June 24 and was taken by a vigilant user who seems to know more about policing and investigating than these guys do.

The netizens also stated that a 200 meter stretch of road was practically blocked by two poorly-parked police cars that belonged to the lazy coppers in question who were in fact traffic police.

Police Chief Wu Pengfei claimed that the four policemen in the photo were simply taking a rest during a low-traffic period, and that this certainly doesn’t represent normal police behavior in the area.
