Shenzhen is going to be home to China’s first design museum as part of the agreements signed between British Prime Minister David Cameron and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
The museum will be a truly international affair with Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki responsible for designing the museum, development and operation by the China Merchants Property Company and staff trained by the Victoria and Albert museum in London.
There will also be a dedicated gallery directly overseen by the V & A.
