In the week-long holiday for the Spring Festival, Shenzhen has received over 4.5 million visitors, 5.1% up from last year and revenues totalled at almost 4.4 billion RMB, a 14.32% increase from the year before. But because of the colder weather this year, major scenic attractions and parks in the city have not attracted as many visitors as had been expected – with a total of around 2.3 million visitors to 25 major attractions around the city.
