According to the 2012 Shenzhen-Hong Kong Subway Discussion Forum, the Shenzhen Metro will introduce day passes and open an 11th line to increase services. The city also plans to set-up VIP cars that will cost twice as much as a regular ticket, with the guarantee of available seats and luggage rack compartments.
