Shenzhen Bay Park Opens to Visitors

On August 5th, the longest seaside park in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Bay Park, officially opened to the public. The 13-km long-coastline park is sure to become an ideal place for sightseeing, sports, expeditions and amusement. It extends from the Futian Mangrove and Birds National Nature Reserve (红树林鸟类自然保护区) in the east to the Nanhai Embankment in the west. The park, with a total area of 108.07 hectares, is separated into three sections and is comprised of a mangrove park and 13 other different park areas, each with its own theme.
