Shenyang Opens Northeast China's First Tourism Bus Line

On May 19, northeast China's first tourism bus line was opened in Shenyang. The bus starts from Liaoning Building, stops at Qing Zhao Ling, Liaoning Provincial Government, Taiqing Palace and Youth Park, and terminates at Olympic Center. There are 24 stops in total and it takes one hour and a half to cover the whole distance. The tourism bus operates between 7:00 and 18:00 with frequency intervals of 20 to 30 minutes. Voice sync systems are equipped on the bus, offering simultaneous introductions to the various scenic spots in eight languages, including Chinese, English, Germany, Spanish and Russian. It costs 5 RMB to take the tourism bus once and day tickets are offered at a price of 10 RMB (valid on specified day only). Ordinary IC bus card passengers will be charged 4.5 RMB. Other IC cards cannot be used, while MetroCard will be valid by the end of the year.
