Shanghai’s Xuhui District to be Revamped Over the Coming Years
May 09, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Local authorities in Shanghai’s Xuhui District have a plan in mind of how to soup up the area, and it sounds exciting.

One of the initiatives involves is being able to listen to music on demand through your smart phone. Presumably the area will have a wireless zone set up with a network for streaming your choice of music. The function will be available primarily in the parks, so picnics will become a lot more fun.

Another idea from the project involves turning the runway of the old Longhua Airport into a running track for public use. They are also looking into the possibility of building an underground leisure and culture center. Xuhui District is really going places it seems.
