Shanghai's Temperature Drops to Freezing Point

Shanghai did not escape the recent cold front and as a result the Shanghai Meteorological Observatory has been sending out low temperature reports since the morning of Dec. 17th. The lowest temperature in Shanghai’s suburbs was 1.4℃. It is estimated that the lowest temperature in downtown Shanghai may drop to -1℃ on Dec. 18th and that in the suburbs temperatures may drop to -2℃. The lowest temperature in downtown Shanghai may even fall to -3℃ on the mornings of the 19th to 21st.
