Mao Livehouse in Shanghai is to hold its first ever Music Awards on February 18th. A total of 12 awards will be given out, including “Best Concert Planner”, “Best Folk Musician”, “Best New Shanghai Band”, “Best Performers”, “Best Overseas Band” etc.
A concert with some of China’s biggest bands will round off the night. Bands scheduled to perform include Second Hand Rose (二手玫瑰), Su Yang (苏阳) and Convenience Store (便利商店).
