Shanghai’s 2nd “Blind Date Party” Scheduled for Next Spring
Nov 18, 2011 By eChinacities.com

Last weekend’s blind date party attracted over 20,000 single men and women in search of their Mr. or Ms. Right. It was the largest social party Shanghai has ever seen. According to a report, 2,006 couples “hooked up” via matchmakers at the event.

Although there is a “growing quest for love” in Shanghai, the city’s singles do not have many opportunities to find partners in their daily life. Accordingly, the Shanghai Match Service Agency Association announced that a 2nd Blind Date Party would be held next spring, where hopefully more singles will find their future husbands and wives.
