Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel Bridge to Open on Oct 31st

The Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel Bridge project, the world’s largest tunnel bridge at present, was completed after five years of construction. The bridge will be open to traffic on October 31st. It will take only one hour from downtown Shanghai to Chongming Island. The bridge has the world’s biggest tunnel diameter and is “the fifth largest cable-stayed bridge in the world”.
