On October 15th at 18:00, the “Diamond Princess”, one of the world’s most luxurious cruise ships, docked at Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port, with more than 2,700 international passengers disembarking. It’s the first international cruise ship to stop in Wusongkou Port. The Diamond Princess set off from Nagasaki, docked in Shanghai for about 12 hours and then set off again for Hong Kong.

Wusongkou International Cruise Port has now completed its first phase and can dock two international cruises with a load capacity of 100,000 tons. Its goal is to be able to receive 608,000 international travellers annually. Since its trial operations last year, it has already received 11 international cruises, and is scheduled to receive 60 cruises next year. According to reports, both “Sea Voyage” and “Victoria” have chosen Wusongkou International Cruise Port as their homeport.
