Train tickets during the Spring Festival transportation period will go on sale starting Jan. 20th. Passengers in Shanghai can buy tickets via ticket windows, self-service ticketing machines and ticket booking hotline. A total of 728 ticketing window will be open, 341 more than usual and 255 more than Spring Festival last year. The 50 self-service ticketing machines in the station offer services in Chinese and English languages. Passengers can also buy tickets by calling ticket hotline 95105105 to book train tickets (Shanghai-Hong Kong trains excluded) and get them at the nearby ticket office with the ticket numbers. The releasing time of new tickets will be changed to 15:00 every day and passengers don’t need wait all night long to buy tickets.
